I moved to Clewiston in 1954, graduated from Clewiston High School in 1966.
In 1967 I married Ronald E. Lee (Hendry County’s current Sheriff) and had two children, Ronnie Jr. and Ryan. Ron Jr. is the leasing manager for Labelle Dodge and Ryan is the kicker at
Webber University in Lake Wales, FL.
After 17 years with the State of Florida I decided to retire from the state and get my Real Estate License. In June of 2005 I became a Realtor Associate.
Hendry County has been my home for many years; we lived in North Fort Myers for 18 years.
Ronald worked at the State Attorney’s Office for years, and then he retired to run for Sheriff of Hendry County in 1966. We have been back in Hendry County ever since. I never really forgot my grass roots and where home was, for Labelle is a peaceful little community with the down home friendliness that anyone can feel right at home with.
