Bob started his real estate career in 1999 in Moline, Illinois, which is right on the Mississippi river and right across the river from Davenport, Iowa. In that area you have to have the expertise to be able to sell real estate in both states, with two different sets of laws.
In 2000 he was approached and asked to start teaching real estate in Illinois and that, of course, meant teaching in Iowa also. In 2002 he accepted the position of Director of Education of two real estate schools one in Illinois and one in Iowa. At that time he was still listing and selling real estate, teaching and directing the two schools of real estate.
Two years later in 2004, Bob and his wife Cindy, relocated to Cape Coral, Florida, where he tested and received his Brokers license and his real estate instructors license. He will tell you that his biggest enjoyment is having his second language students call him and tell him that they have passed their state exam, and received their license.
In 1993 Bob received the Illinois/Iowa Quad Cities area Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.
He has sat on the Board of Directors of the Illinois/Iowa Quad Cities Board of Realtors for two years, and has chaired and co-chaired several committees for the Board of Realtors.
Bob loves working with buyers and sellers and much of his business is through referrals from Illinois and Iowa. He takes his clients best interest at heart and works very diligently to make sure that all of their expectations are fulfilled if at all possible. Bob’s motto is “No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care” and he has lived that through out his real estate career.
Bob is now widowed from Cindy, and has one son Matthew living in Illinois.
